Rapid roll doors for health products industry

DMF recently installed a high speed roll door for a client who produces and distributes health food medication, in their satellite western Sydney premises. A rapid door was required to prevent customer access to the warehouse, and was desired to blend well with the architecture of the building.
DMF had supplied doors to this client previously, and they again chose DMF to supply a solution. The Series RL3000 rapid roll door was selected and installed on the same side as the security roller shutter door, completed with structural infill sealing, remote activate, and a dual full width clear vision window.
The client required a good level of safety to the door, both electronically, and visually, and so the safety yellow bottom rail was maintained, a standard feature of this door model. Dual safety photo electric sensors are also built into the rapid door’s columns, that prevent the door from closing if interrupted by clients or any form of traffic.
The windbars shown not only provide strength of the door blade against prevailing wind, but also allow the individual panel sections to be replaced if required, rather than some models requiring the whole door blade to be replaced.
The door was custom manufactured to sizes and specification in the well equipped DMF factory, and full after sales service provided, with quick turn around of any parts, whether standard or custom sized to suit the specific door.
