A leading pharmaceutical company recently completed construction of a large warehouse in western Sydney. Having previously used DMF rapid roll doors in other smaller locations, they approved DMF to supply and install 8 more units into their new facility. The dock area has the popular Series RL3000 model rapid roll doors, custom manufactured in our Girraween factory, and mounted on structural infills “piggybacking” the roller shutter doors. These custom infills ensure a good seal between the shutter and the rapid roll door, for the full height of the door system.
The activation for these doors was selected from our large range, and then required as Infra-Red Motion sensing, and the BEA Milans were again selected, being a very reliable sensor for motion and presence sensing. The prevailing wind must always be a consideration in the configuration of the door, and with heavy duty aluminium windbars set in the panels, the doors will comfortably withstand strong winds coming from the north, in which they face.
