From Feb to April 2020, the main DMF office underwent a complete office refurbishment, designed by Rosie Fell, and project managed by Mainstay Projects. The design provides a more modern feel, with additional workstations, and a decor that brings a neat and professional feel. It was a very challenging time, also given that it commenced right at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The refit was done in two stages, to overcome the challenge of maintaining full operation in the office. This meant very cramped, and noisy conditions at time, but our motto through the experience was “no pain no gain”. The refurb was from top to bottom, new ceiling and lighting, some additional walls, painting, carpet, and new furniture in the main areas, resulting in a very slick looking office area.
DMF did not need to fully close during the peak of the pandemic and now the restrictions are slowly being eased, all are welcome to come and visit us.
