Insulated roll doors for chiller enclosures

DMF recently completed a project that required a specialised door system that would provide insulation to a chiller enclosure, with an opening height of 7m. With limited headroom, this meant sectiobal insulated panel doors would not fit into the application. DMF provided the solution, offering Efaflex SST-US insulated doors, with 80mm thick insulated door blades. The doors operate at 1.5m/sec opening speed, and are containing 5degC effectively, meaning product spoiling is minimised.

DMF International has been offering this type of rapid roll door for over 13 years, throughout all of Australia. This door is designed for internal or external applications requiring a high level of temperature control, but still providing good speed to minimise loss of the conditioned atmosphere. The door blade is made from a PU foam core filled aluminium section, with U values of down to 0.5W/m2K achievable, and are available in thicknesses from 40mm to 100mm. Door speeds of up to 1.5m/sec are standard, with design cycles of over 150,000 per annum. Maximum door clear opening sizes can be up to 8m H x 8mW, and this model comes as standard with an emergency opening lever in case of power failure, and full lockinjg for afterhours security.

Efaflex are a German manufacturer, with leading design and technology of high speed roll doors. DMF International Pty Ltd are partners for Australia, and can provide sales and service throughout the nation.
