DMF recently completed a project at the Sydney Tooheys site, installing a few specialised Coldsaver Rapid Roll doors onto chiller enclosures. The client required a door solution that would not take up excessive space, and yet provide a well insulated shield to their enclosure. These doors exceeded the normal design size for the Coldsaver door, but DMF were able to accommodate the sizings with some modifications, including a stainless steel idler roller, to ensure the door panel would track well in to the column guides. The doors are pushbutton and remote control activated, with ability to stop at mid heights for added control of loss of chilled air. These doors travel at 1.0 m/sec and are ideal for coolrooms and freezers, with special heater elements fitted for the latter.
