Woolworths traffic doors

DMF have completed many projects for Woolworths throughout NSW, QLD, TAS and now Vic (via Premier Doors), which have included supply of doors for both NEW supermarkets and the refurbishment of existing stores.

Woolworth’s store layouts have changed over recent yearsto now include High Impact Thermal Traffic Doors between the store floor trading area and back of house. Previously, flexible Swingflex PVC Doors were used to separate these areas and contain the internal store environmental conditions, whilst also providing a barrier to staff only areas. These doors experience high levels of traffic and must be durable and capable of withstanding the demands of a high paced retail environment.

For many years now the Swingflex Mk5 Door has provided a good solution for these doorways, however in the ever changing retail environment Woolworths now utilize the DMF Traffic Door which has the added benefit of providing insulation properties to contain temperature and reduce energy loss, whilst also providing a more aesthetic finish.

Spring buffers to high impact areas also offer extra protection to marking and wear which often diminished the finish of the traditional Flexible PVC Doors. Windows are used for vision and safety.
