Low head room carpark door

High speed doors

For this recent installation project carried out by DMF International in Sydney, the EFAFLEX SST PS N Door, with the low lintel head assembly was the door of choice, requiring less than 280mm clearance above the opening to fit the head in. Try doing that with a normal roller door! The stepped layout of each door also allowed for the full utilization of the available floor area.

Multi-level underground carparks are regularly a challenge for mounting any type of security roller door; particularly in regard to providing sufficient clearances around the opening to achieve the desired clear opening sizes. The EFAFLEX SST PS high speed door, with the low Lintel option, is the ideal choice in these situations.

While speed of operation is always a big focus, with these particular doors coming in at 1.5m/sec opening speed, one aspect of the doors which is often not considered, is the number of cycles they can achieve. Many facility carpark park applications will have doors doing in excess of 500 cycles over a 24-hour period.

With the new EFA-Tronic Door Controller, exclusive to EFAFLEX, we were able to interface the door with the existing security system ensuring a total secure and workable outcome to the end user. A clean, functional and secure result.

The installation was performed and overseen by DMF, with a result very pleasing to the client.
