Efaflex high speed door for Woy Woy Ambulance

The use of EFAFLEX High-Speed Doors into the Emergency Services sector is certainly becoming the popular choice.  Of course, it is not just the speed of the doors, but the reliability of a high cycle operation. The EFAFLEX SST-US High Speed Spiral Door was the ideal choice for the very latest state-of-the-art Ambulance Station, located in Woy Woy, on the thriving NSW Central Coast. This model high speed door door certainly ticked all the boxes in the stringent requirements for this project. Working closely with the design and construction team, we were not only able to overcome ventilation issues, with a fully perforated door panel, but also provided a matching powder coat finish to blend in with contemporary design of the building. With safety in operation always paramount , the Efaflex door was fitted with Safety Light Curtains, along with internally mounted Red/Green Traffic lights.  Door activation included remote control, giving the operator full control, and in the event of a power interruption, the EFAFLEX Door can be opened manually, with a brake release lever.

The speed of this door ensures that the ambulances can be dispatched very quickly, since every call out has an element of urgency where seconds can count. DMF are proud to work with NSW Ambulance in proving solutions to doorway use such as this.
