DMF were requested to consider a solution to install doors into a very challenging environment. The client, ELF FARMS, in western Sydney, process compost waste for mushroom farms. This process gives of a very corrosive gas, being Ammonium Nitrate which attacks most metals and alloys. DMF custom designed high speed doors constructed fully in 304 stainless steel. High performance s/steel motors were employed, and the panel made from a extremely durable Duraskin PVC.

The doors will function to maintain a tight seal against loss of fumes form the processing plants, allowing front end loader access by remote activation.

Similar applications have been achieved for other waste processing plants, but this one was an exceptional envirnoment
