Another interesting project by DMF

DMF recently completed a project for Manildra Group, installing 3 large rapid roller doors to seal and provide access to a crane unloading facility. In consultation with the client, DMF were able to provide detailed design assistance to ensure the doors could fit in to the required sizes, and accommodate the operational requirements of the area. Being a coastal location, the site can be exposed to strong winds, and so we were able to apply additional panel supports to ensure the doors would tolerate the prevailing wind loads. The doors have additional safety sensing, which included  . .

  1. Multiple in column light beams
  2. Pressure sensitive bottom rail for auto reverse
  3. Infrared motion detection sensors

The rapid doors were designed and manufactured in our Sydney factory to the custom specification required, and this is typical of all projects that we supply to. This means we design to the client’s needs, rather than them having to accommodate our “shelf” sizes.

Using a strong 900gsm multi-weave PVC panel material, and interchangeable clear window sections, the door blade is also supported laterally with the aluminium windbars.

The Servo control system provides a fully programmable operation, with easy serviceability.

Our team worked through a whole weekend to achieve this good result, enduring some difficult weather at times. Well done to everyone involved.
