A client came to DMF wanting a solution for their two warehouses located in Sydney and Brisbane. Being a pet products distributor, a problem was being encountered with the ingress of birds causing spoiling of their pet food products. The solution by DMF, was to install high speed roll doors to the busiest doorways, that would work to minimise the time the openings were left open, and therefore decreasing the chance for birds to enter. Obviously this was not the only solution, and other measures were put into place to achieve minimal entry. Being large door openings, the doors had to provide a good wind capacity, and given that the warehouses were not air conditioned, had to still allow some airflow entry for the comfort of the employees.
