The ShieldFLEX Welding Screens are purpose-designed safety screening solutions developed to reduce exposure to harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation generated during welding operations, while still maintaining excellent visibility and safe two-way observation. Manufactured in a standard Golden Bronze tint, ShieldFLEX incorporates a high-performance UV inhibitor that blocks more than 99% of harmful UV transmission produced during welding processes. At the same time, it allows most of the remaining visible light spectrum to pass through, ensuring adequate visibility within the workspace. The UV-stabilised material also helps reduce degradation caused by sunlight exposure, extending product life in environments where natural light is present. In addition, the PVC used in ShieldFLEX is fire-retardant and will not support combustion under normal atmospheric conditions, enhancing overall workplace safety.
